# VoiceHub Code of Conduct
## Our Commitment
VoiceHub is an open source, community-driven campus broadcasting and song request system.
We are committed to providing a friendly, respectful, and harassment-free environment for everyone who participates in this project — including users, contributors, maintainers, and community members — regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
We aim to foster an open, inclusive, and constructive community where collaboration and learning are encouraged.
---
## Expected Behavior
We encourage all participants to:
- Be respectful and considerate in discussions, reviews, and feedback
- Communicate thoughtfully, especially when opinions differ
- Welcome newcomers and help them learn
- Provide constructive criticism focused on improving the project
- Take responsibility for mistakes and be willing to correct them
- Respect the campus-oriented and community-serving nature of this project
---
## Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are not tolerated within the VoiceHub community:

- Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
- Deliberate disruption of discussions, development, or community activities
- Any behavior that would be considered inappropriate in an educational or professional environment

- GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, and discussions
- Official communication channels and community platforms

---
## Enforcement
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers.
All reports will be reviewed fairly and promptly. Maintainers will handle reports with discretion and respect the privacy of all parties involved.
Project maintainers have the responsibility and authority to take appropriate action in response to violations.
---
## Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior, maintainers may take one or more of the following actions:
1. **Private Reminder** – A private message explaining the issue and expected behavior.
2. **Formal Warning** – A clear warning with expectations for future conduct.
3. **Temporary Restriction** – Temporary limitation or suspension from community interaction.
4. **Permanent Ban** – Permanent removal from participation in the project or community spaces.
Actions will be taken in a manner proportional to the impact on the community.
